Bexar County Taxpayers Association is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for fiscal responsibility, transparency, and accountability in local government on behalf of taxpayers in San Antonio and throughout Bexar County, Texas.

Why was the Bexar County Taxpayers Association founded?
We were founded to give a voice to property owners, business owners, and residents of Bexar County who are concerned about rising taxes, wasteful government spending, and lack of public oversight.

What does Bexar County Taxpayers Association do?
We monitor local government budgets, advocate against unnecessary tax increases, publish fiscal analysis, and encourage civic engagement on taxation and spending in local government. We mobilize taxpayers to attend public hearings and speak out on fiscal policy.

Any resident, property owner, or business owner in the greater San Antonio area who supports our mission is welcome. We ask members to donate what they can.

You can get involved by becoming a member and joining one of our task groups on the City of San Antonio, Bexar County, the ISDs, or other taxing entity.

As a nonprofit, we are supported by donations from our members. We do not accept government funding. Contributions are not tax-deductible.
